“Golden Hour” Featuring Cynthia Simmons and Scott McQuade Thursday Oct 26th 2017!

This was an absolutely wonderful event and the last in the Tulsa Jazz Gives Back Music Series. The series has been re-branded and is now “Tulsa Jazz Presents…”

TulsaJazz.Com Presents “For the Love of Jazz” During Elder Care’s Golden Hour

Elder Care will host its monthly “Golden Hour” event this Thursday, Oct 26th at 5:30 p.m. It is also an opportunity to learn more about Elder Care and it’s Golden Opportunities program.

This month’s entertainment will be the Jazz duo of Cynthia Simmons and Scott McQuade from TulsaJazz.Com and the Taylor Entertainment Group. The duo will perform” For The Love Of Jazz” a concert which consists many of the most popular Jazz  Standards and a few other musical treats.

Cynthia Simmons has performed in many local and regional venues including the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, Tulsa Performing Arts Center, Main St Tavern, and the Guthrie Green. She has connected with the Tulsa Jazz community and over the last few years has become one of the more recognized and popular Jazz vocalists in the area.

Scott McQuade will accompany Simmons on keyboard. McQuade is a seasoned veteran with 25 + years as a professional musician and has had the opportunity to perform alongside many world-renowned Jazz artists. Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, he was based in Florida for 11 years and now resides in Owasso, OK.

Golden Hour features complimentary beverages, hors d’oeuvres and giveaways and is open to anyone over the age of 60, No RSVP is required. The monthly social event is sponsored by Heritage Villa Nursing Center.

This event is part of the 2017 “Tulsa Jazz Gives Back” Music Series.
